The Herman and Heddy Kurz Purdue Technology Center (KPTC) was constructed in 2009 and serves as Purdue Research Park’s flagship high-tech business incubator. The building features scalable Class-A office and wet lab space, as well as shared conference rooms, mailroom, a cafe, fitness center, kitchenette, and the Purdue Railyard coworking space. KPTC and other PRF-owned facilities offer tenants gross leases (utilities are included) and are located just two miles north of Purdue’s main campus.

The $50 million, 62,000-square-foot institute Indiana Manufacturing Institute leads research on vehicle, wind turbine, and aerospace structures including advancing fracture mechanics, lightweight and smart materials, and all technologies that are designed to save energy. The Young Institute for Advanced Manufacturing of Pharmaceuticals “racetrack” facility is expected to be completed in 2025 which will include a 10,000-square-foot manufacturing and training space, adding to Indiana’s growing pharmaceutical manufacturing footprint.
