Entrepreneurship Academy Questions and Answers

Q:  When is the 2012 Entrepreneurship Academy?

A:  June 24-29, 2012.

Q:  Who should apply for the Academy?

A:  All incoming Indiana high school juniors and seniors (current sophomores and juniors) who demonstrate an aptitude in the areas of math, science and technology along with an interest in entrepreneurship.

Q:  How do you apply?

A:  Any educator at your high school can nominate you for the Academy.

Q:  Is there any cost to the school, student or parents?

A:  Yes, all academy participants must pay a $75 registration fee. 

Q:  If my son or daughter were to win tuition assistance voucher would there be any tax reporting requirements?

A:  No, it is not taxable to the student if it used on qualified educational expenses: Tuition, Books and Fees. 

Q:  If I live close to the West Lafayette, Purdue University Campus do I have to stay over night?

A:  Yes, all attendees must stay in the campus housing provided.

Q:  What is the application deadline? 

A:  Nominations are due March 30, 2012.
